Though, initially, 3PAR has received an offer from Dell. However, directors decided 3PAR negotiations in the middle of the road after receiving a lucrative offer from HP. Upon termination of this conversation, 3PAR forced to pay compensation amounting to 72 million U.S. dollars to Dell.
HP is the world's largest computer manufacturers. While Dell is the third largest computer manufacturer. Both companies intend to expand into pelayananan services and data storage.
